  Wayne Herschel, who was born in Southern Africa in 1959, has always had a passion for the unexplained
and the mysterious. In his childhood, a very large 'V' shape UFO sighting of
lights in the sky, which was later well publicised in the
media, made an indelible impression on
him.
Like others before him who had been privileged to experience
a paranormal event, he was inspired by the realisation that
we cannot possibly be alone in the universe.
This would become
a powerful new point of reference for him in reasoning humankind's
ancient historical heritage, which remains shrouded
in mystery to this very day.
Many years later, in his early twenties, Wayne had another
brush with the 'unexplained' in a motor cycle accident during
a cross country event.
He vividly recalls having had
what is well documented as a so called 'near death experience'.
Wayne had lost his pulse rate completely and while a medic
was administering cardiovascular resuscitation, he clearly
remembers looking down at what was going on and existing
as consciousness outside his body! Then the proverbial trip through a tunnel and vist to a place of light and the source of life itself.
This completely
changed his attitude to his own life. He had experienced first hand
confirmation not only that the human soul exists, but that
our physical life is not the end but part of a cycle of life. These two critical life
experiences are the prime reason his research base would
be different to that of scholars.
Wayne eventually began his own personal investigation into
subjects like astronomy, the pyramids and ancient paranormal
events, a hobby that would ultimately culminate in
intensive and relentless research. With qualifications no
greater than an inquiring mind, he began to make a habit
of visiting his local libraries and bookshops on a regular
basis for anything he could lay his hands on that would
answer for him his quest in proving 'the meaning of life'. Seven
years of
exhaustive research had culminated in a huge file of research records,
when suddenly one day quite unexpectedly a newly released
book caught his eye in the book stores.
It was a book claiming the Giza pyramids represented Orion's Belt. It was after reading this claim that Wayne realised there was a far more complete star map here using all 50 pyramids in one grand correlation never seen before. The star map secret became an obsession
that he eventually sat down to co-ordinate a manuscript
of his own.
With his astronomy background he made his
first major discovery that would set off a chain of linking
new groundbreaking findings.
It was with the arrival of
the New Millennium that he met his partner Birgitt Lederer
in a serendipitous encounter that would bring her language expertise into his
project as a co-writer to put a publishing-quality touch to the presentation of his
book. His first book The Hidden Records was published in 2003. With Wayne Herschel's conviction that that there was a designated time that would be exactly right to release his most controversial book yet, almost two decades later Herschel's Atlantis-Countdown to 2027 has now finally hit the shelves. |

With the arrival of the new millennium Birgitt Lederer entered into
the project, bringing her own flair to Wayne Herschel's findings
with her extensive background in broadcast journalism and publishing.
Birgitt, a language graduate from the University of Johannesburg (formerly known as RAU),
lived most of her life in South Africa. Over the years, her German
roots would time and again compel her to travel back to her home
town near Stuttgart and for work opportunties in Frankfurt to expand her command of her mother tongue German, having
grown up and exercised her career in predominantly English-speaking countries that inevitably made English her first language.
Prior to
meeting Wayne Herschel she lived in London and Frankfurt where her corporate
responsibilities only served to ignite her insatiable hunger for
knowledge about humanity's past and our spiritual beginnings; and would trigger her passion to use this knowledge to make a difference.
While in Europe, her quest for answers took her to
sacred sites like Stonehenge, Glastonbury and New Grange, to mention
but a few. By the time of her fortuitous encounter with the author
during one of her brief visits back home to South Africa shortly before the turn of the century, she
was already well-versed in a whole range of subject matter on
archaeoastronomy. She would spend the next few years accompanying
him to Egypt and other ancient sites, honing
Wayne Herschel's lifetime research into what was to be published
as The Hidden Records in 2003.
Birgitt Lederer works together with the author from their base in South Africa, from where she also runs her own successful translation agency. It predominently offers services from German into English and thanks to an established and dedicated client base (with several of the books she has translated for other authors now on amazon), it has allowed her to pursue her biggest-ever endeavour at the same time. The new and admittedly very controversial theories that 'The Hidden
Records' presents, have raised among its readers a few questions that are somewhat on the sensitive side:
- What is the author's research premise?
- Does he dismiss religion or a spiritual foundation
based on a single Creator of the Universe?
Wayne Herschel says his readers can rest assured: He has a very high regard for
the source of all religious material and spirituality and he is
highly motivated by what his years of research have moulded his
belief into. For him there is without doubt the overwhelming reality of
the existence of an all knowing omnipotent Creator of the universe.
'The Hidden
Records' does not really explore this subject yet but he will take the reader on a spiritual
journey in his next book, now in the hands of publishers also has its own website: 'Oneism'.
Oneism.org presents new research that
reasons a single Creator as a spiritual life-force nucleus in
the universe and its mathematical design code. All life, exactly
how we know it on earth, apparently seems very abundant within
the universe. It appears to be created within a very clever yet
precise bio-diverse design code that is self adjusting to its
environmental changes. We already recognise the fundamental part of this
as evolutional natural selection. In this book the author will also focus on the
commons of belief systems. And in doing so he highlights equitable ethics, humility
and purity, and above all gives recognition to the reality of life as
sacrosanct.
For Wayne Herschel, his quest for "the meaning of life" started shortly
after the life altering experience mentioned in his biography
that left him with two vital research certainties: - That we cannot
possibly be alone in the universe
- That without any doubt there
has to be a spiritual element to our existence here.
Most of his research has been in the spiritual field over the
last two decades and it was here where he inadvertently stumbled on the star map
material that has made his first book possible.
His next book Oneism will explore hidden records of the definitive cosmic
nucleus, the realm of spirituality and the journey of the soul.

With this his premise on spirituality, his
future books head very convincingly along a path from what is
mentioned below in Point 1 to what is outlined in Point 2 and
Point 3 that follow. The findings completely changed his life and with this being the case he hopes they will have inspirational value for others also.
He believes it was probably very important for early religions to be retranslated
time and time again for clarity and simplicity, while conveying
obedience and romanticism at the same time. Religion was the foundation of law
systems throughout history, so an element of a fear of God was strongly propagated
by most.

- "Over the millennia many have strictly followed tradition and
the intense ritual of worship without choice or question, often
in communal temple gatherings while repeatedly chanting formal
verses. In many cases 'worship' in its highest form occurs with prostrating
oneself (bowing down) and it is prompted by the 'prescribed' element of
fear that goes with this."
- "However, there is an overwhelming collection of ancient teachings
that suggests that one might experience
a stronger and direct connection to the ultimate Creator of the
Universe through prayer in privacy and in a remote sacred place.
One can express one's own communication and connection with a higher force via inner thought,
giving thanks and asking for intuition and guidance rather than
practising repetitive verses. With this approach, in place of fear and 'worship', more
emphasis is placed on feeling a very personal and private inner love, respect
and honour for our Creator. This is especially true when one expresses gratitude
and when as individuals we find ways to work towards peace and happiness, constructive
living and the gift of life itself."

There might be a piece of God within. One's spirit shares
a level of consciousness with the Creator. It is this connectivity

appears to be a terrible thing to do anything in disrespect of
one's gift of life, or to do anything in disrespect of the life

with The Creator in meditation in privacy is important in strengthening

'The Hidden Records' Book 1 presents a repeating
cosmic pattern found in ancient monuments, depictions and texts
of the earliest civilisations and explores its compelling meaning.
The hypothesis presented is measurable and quite academic. In

An intense study of the connectivity of spirituality, a universal

Since publishing his first book, The Hidden Records in 2003, even large portions of ongoing research material that he has made available free view online have faced unexpected removal protocols.
